See, I told you he never would have sent the first one if he wasn't interested. It just took him this long to get to get from "Gertie will think I'm an indecisive loser" to "oh well, it couldn't hurt to send her something."

Ah, Joe. I don't know what it means for Joe... one of the things about Joe is that he lives 8 hrs away. So, he's either in the "out of sight, out of mind mode" or the "distance makes the heart grow fonder" one. We'll just have to wait and see.
